Our Heritage
Our story begins in 1959 in alpine earthworks.
The roots of HETTEC® trace back to the year 1959. Since then, our family enterprise has been operating construction and specialized machinery under demanding conditions in alpine terrain.
Steep slopes, rocky ground, snow, mud, and hard-to-reach construction sites have been part of our daily work from the very beginning. Decades of experience created a deep understanding of what machines and people truly need in challenging operational scenarios.
Therefore, HETTEC® was not born out of a theoretical product idea, but from concrete challenges encountered in daily practice.

The Origin of HETTEC®
IT ALL STARTED WITH A CONCRETE CHALLENGE.
When working with an excavator on difficult terrain, it became clear that existing solutions did not meet practical requirements. There was a lack of traction, safety, and flexibility.
Instead of settling for these limitations, HETTEC® began developing its own solution. This gave rise to a new understanding of how equipment in construction, forestry, and specialized machinery can operate.
